10 Easy Things You Can do to Make Money From Home

The list of ways you can generate income from your home is almost endless, including babysitting and pet sitting, selling items online or on Craigslist, running errands for people, temping in an office, and mowing lawns. For example: If there’s something you’re good at—and that other people are willing to pay for—you have a business idea. It doesn’t matter if it’s something you could never turn into a big-business opportunity: You can start small by targeting one specific demographic with a unique selling proposition (USP) that helps solve their problem or fill their need. In time and with enough sales, your little passion project could grow into a successful side business or replace your day job income altogether.

1) Take Paid Surveys

Paid surveys are one of those things people say they’re going to do, but rarely follow through with. This is a good thing if you’re looking for more opportunities to earn some money in one hour or less at home; just be sure that paid surveys are offered where and when you’d like them. Here’s what else you need to know about taking paid surveys They pay pretty well—usually between $1 and $5 per survey—and most take 15 minutes or less to complete. You’ll have to register before you can start taking them, which usually takes less than 10 minutes. If you want to get paid via PayPal or check (instead of gift cards), it will take slightly longer—typically between 24 hours and two weeks. And there are plenty of sites out there that offer additional incentives—like points or bonuses—for completing your profile and/or filling out additional surveys throughout your time on their site(s). But don’t forget: The best part about making money online is being able to work from anywhere in the world, so enjoy your flexibility!

2) Participate in Focus Groups

Another way to make a little extra cash is by participating in focus groups. Focus groups pay anywhere between $50 and $200 depending on how much time is required, how many other people are participating, etc. Plus, it’s nice knowing that you have an opportunity of stumbling across something valuable like a new product that becomes really popular or even a decent amount of cash! If you decide to participate in focus groups, be sure to sign up with several different companies. That way, if one company doesn’t pay or cancels your participation last minute (which happens often), you will still have several others that are expecting your time and energy.

3) Rent Out Your House

If you live in a large, expensive city, or just have an extra room in your apartment that’s going unused, consider renting it out. It could net you anywhere between $400 and $900 each month. You don’t have to be a landlord though—in fact, most people who rent out space are just regular folks who need a little bit of extra cash every month. If you decide to go down this route and list your space on Airbnb, it’s worth considering safety measures such as meeting renters in person beforehand (especially if they’re staying overnight) and letting them pay with credit instead of cash so that there’s a paper trail if something goes wrong.

4) Become a Virtual Assistant

Become a virtual assistant or VA for short. Virtual assistants perform a wide range of services for clients, which could include administrative support, errand-running, or bookkeeping. It’s common for VAs to take on multiple tasks at once, making it an appealing way to earn extra cash in a pinch. Best of all, being a virtual assistant doesn’t require an extensive background in business—you just need some great organizational skills and knowledge of basic offices like Word and Excel.

5) Start a Freelance Business

Your schedule is free, meaning you don’t have to work a regular 9-to-5 job, and no prior experience is required—which means if you have a car, you’re good to go. If your city doesn’t already have Uber. it’s anyway so Uber knows what demand there will be when it finally launches in your area (and tell all your friends!). Then just sign up and accept rides as they come in! On average, Uber drivers earn about $15 an hour.

6) Become an Uber Driver

One of my favorite ways to make extra cash is by driving for Uber and Lyft. The options below have been personally tested and verified as a legitimate way to work on your own schedule. All three allow you to set your own hours, drive only when it’s convenient for you, and take advantage of incentives that are exclusive for new drivers (not all incentives are listed here). Plus, with companies like Uber and Lyft offering referral bonuses, more often than not they’ll give you a bonus when they sign up. The best part? You don’t need to be an experienced driver or even own a car!

7) Play Online Games for Money

Online gaming is one of those things that’s perfect for making money fast as a woman or man on your computer. Most companies will pay you a minimum of $5 per hour, but oftentimes they will offer as much as $20 or more. You can work whenever and wherever you want, so it’s a great opportunity if you have children or are working another job during traditional hours. 8) Deliver Packages and Other Items

If you live in a metro area, chances are some companies will pay you good money for dropping off and picking up packages. In fact, Amazon has a program called Delivery Service Partners where it will actually hire contractors as drivers. That’s right, Amazon will pay contractors by offering them an opportunity to start their own delivery business! (I’ve written about driver jobs before — check out my interview with Sidecar.) You can also deliver food and restaurant orders with services like UberEATS. Or if straight-up door-to-door isn’t your gig, sign up on TaskRabbit or another service that lets people hire someone to help around their house with various chores.

9) Rent out your car on Turo or Getaround

Many people have a car they aren’t using or don’t even realize they could rent out. The two most popular places for peer-to-peer carsharing are Turo and Getaround. If your car is parked more than 90% of the time, you could earn hundreds per month renting it out on one of these websites. It won’t always be an extra hundred, but it will definitely be extra cash in your pocket each month. You can read more about how to rent out your car here.

10) Sell Your Photos on Shutterstock

If you’re an aspiring photographer or have a knack for photography, start selling your work on Shutterstock. It’s free to sign up and submit your photos, and it only takes a few minutes. If it does, they may purchase your photo online as is or perhaps contact you about doing a custom photoshoot for them! Shutterstock gets more than 15 million visits each month, so clearly people are interested in buying photos online. They also sell videos on their site as well if that’s something that interests you. There’s no guarantee that any of your photos will sell — quite often they don’t — but we’re sure giving it a shot won’t hurt!. how to earn money by uploading photos on google here is a complete guide.
